About the Opportunity
Corporate & Legal Support
- Provide support for a variety of corporate, commercial, and transactional matters.
- Prepare, review, and maintain legal documents, agreements, resolutions, certificates, and related materials.
- Assist with corporate record maintenance, filings, registrations, and governance requirements.
- Maintain organized corporate records and documentation across multiple entities and jurisdictions.
- Support legal counsel and internal stakeholders in managing legal matters and meeting deadlines.
- Review and assist with the preparation of commercial and business-related agreements.
- Coordinate with internal departments and external advisors on legal and business matters.
Due Diligence & Legal Research
- Assist with due diligence reviews and organize relevant corporate, contractual, regulatory, and other legal information.
- Review corporate records and identify outstanding items, inconsistencies, or potential issues.
- Conduct corporate, regulatory, litigation, and other relevant searches as required.
- Prepare summaries, checklists, reports, and other materials to support legal reviews and decision-making.
- Organize and maintain electronic data rooms and confidential legal information.
- Support internal reviews, audits, compliance initiatives, and information-gathering projects.
Documentation & Transaction Support
- Prepare and manage legal documentation and execution processes for various corporate and commercial matters.
- Coordinate signatures, approvals, notarizations, registrations, and other closing or completion requirements.
- Assist with the preparation of transaction materials,
closing documents, schedules, and supporting documentation.
- Track outstanding items and coordinate with relevant stakeholders to help ensure matters progress efficiently.
Legal Technology & Operations
- Use and support legal technology, document management, electronic signature, and corporate records platforms.
- Maintain templates, precedents, checklists, procedures, and other legal resources.
- Support internal legal requests by preparing summaries, routine documents, and other materials.
- Assist with compliance programs, policy updates, filings, and other legal operations initiatives.
- Monitor legal requests, deadlines, expenses, and other administrative requirements.
- Maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment when handling sensitive legal information.
- Perform other legal and administrative duties as required.
About You
- Post-secondary education in Law, Legal Administration, Paralegal Studies, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Several years of experience in a law firm, corporate legal department, or similar professional environment.
- Experience supporting corporate, commercial, transactional, or general legal matters.
- Experience working with legal technology, document management, electronic signature, and corporate records platforms.
- Strong understanding of corporate and commercial legal processes and documentation.
- Excellent drafting, proofreading, analytical, and organizational skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage confidential information appropriately.
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office and other relevant business and legal technology tools.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Solid communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with legal, business, and external stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently while exercising sound judgment and professionalism.
Salary Range
$70,000 - $90,000 / year
