Job Purpose & Responsibilities

This is a Term position with the Community Services Department. Reporting to the Recreation Programmer, this position is responsible for:

- Providing customer service by creating a positive and energetic atmosphere, greeting users, assisting with queries, assisting with boat launching, and refueling.
- Ensuring the cleanliness of the Marina office, shower rooms, boat launch, parking lot, and breakwater areas.
- Performing administrative tasks, including answering phones, receiving payments, directing customers, etc.
- Assisting with civic events, and facility maintenance, when required.

Qualifications & Competencies

High School Diploma or Equivalent.



Class 5 Driver License is preferred.

More Details

This term position will begin immediately and conclude on October 23, 2026. The wage for this position is $21.33 per hour, 40 hours a week on a shift schedule that includes morning, evenings, weekdays and weekends.

This position is within the scope of AUPE Local 118/016, and as such you will be required to adhere to articles contained within the Collective Agreement.
