Job Title: Marketing Manager - NFP

Location: Hybrid, Toronto

Status: Full-Time, Permanent

Reason for vacancy: Existing Vacancy

# of Vacancies: 1

Starting Rate for Position: $80,000

Job Posting Opening: Sept 16

Job Posting Closing: Sept 26

About the Role

Ascend Fundraising Solutions is looking for a Marketing Manager - NFP to own the marketing engine behind our Non-For-Profit partner vertical — including 50/50 raffles, Catch the Ace and other related programs run by non-profit / charitable organizations.

This is an individual-contributor role at the center of the vertical, not a people-management position: you won't have direct reports, but you'll coordinate closely with channel leads (email, paid media, creative, analytics) to make sure every NFP campaign is planned, executed, optimized, and reported on with consistency and rigor across a diverse partner roster.

What You'll Do

Campaign Oversight

- Own the end-to-end campaign calendar for NFP partners, from kickoff through wrap-up
- Partner with channel leads to ensure deliverables (email sends, paid media, landing pages, creative assets) are scoped, scheduled, and delivered on time
- Monitor campaign performance in-flight and flag optimization opportunities to the right channel owner
- Serve as the connective tissue between partner-facing account/client teams and internal marketing execution

Reporting

- Lead marketing reporting for the NFP vertical — build and maintain the reporting cadence partners and internal stakeholders rely on
- Work with channel leads to ensure inputs roll up into complete, accurate, and timely reports

- Standardize reporting formats and KPIs across NFP partners so performance is comparable program-over-program
- Surface trends, wins, and risks to the Marketing Lead and partner-facing teams

Vertical Ownership

- Act as the internal subject-matter expert on what makes NFP/fundraising marketing distinct from broader campaign work
- Bring fundraising industry context (donor behavior, giving cycles, regulatory considerations) into campaign planning and channel strategy

What You'll Need

- Experience as a marketing manager, campaign manager, or similar generalist marketing role, with the ability to plan and coordinate across email, paid media, and creative
- Solid understanding of the fundraising/non-profit sector; experience with hospital foundations preferred
- Comfort owning reporting: pulling, checking, and presenting performance data across multiple channels and partners
- Working knowledge of core marketing tools (email marketing platforms, GA4, and Meta Ads Manager, or equivalent platforms)
- Strong organizational skills — this role touches many partners and campaigns in parallel, so prioritization and follow-through matter

- Explicit written and verbal communication; comfortable presenting results to partners and internal stakeholders
- Familiarity with Canadian raffle/lottery or gaming compliance considerations is an asset

Nice to Have

- Direct experience working with or for a hospital foundation, sports foundation, or other charitable fundraising organization
- Exposure to regulated charitable gaming industry
