St. John Ambulance is seeking a highly organized and collaborative Medical First Responder (MFR) Coordinator to support the delivery and administration of our Medical First Response Program.

Reporting to the Director of Programs, the MFR Coordinator will work closely with volunteers, volunteer leaders, community organizations, event organizers, and other stakeholders to help ensure the effective, safe, and professional delivery of MFR services.

Key Responsibilities The MFR Coordinator will:

· Coordinate the onboarding and administration of Medical First Responder volunteers.

· Maintain accurate volunteer records within the Volunteer Management System.

· Provide ongoing support and guidance to MFR volunteers and volunteer leaders.

· Liaise with community organizations and event organizers regarding MFR duty requests.

· Assist with the coordination of MFR coverage for community events.

· Coordinate maintenance and servicing requirements for MFR fleet vehicles.

· Oversee the St. John Ambulance volunteer identification program.

· Support volunteer recognition initiatives and the Honours & Awards Committee.

· Attend meetings with event organizers, volunteers, and community stakeholders as required.

· Assist in maintaining high standards of quality, safety,



and program delivery.

· Support the ongoing development of the MFR Program and, over time, assume responsibilities related to the HSRT Program.

Qualifications and Skills The ideal candidate will have:

· Experience in volunteer coordination, program coordination, or a related role.

· Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.

· The ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

· Sound judgment and the ability to make decisions in time-sensitive or stressful situations.

· Strong project management and problem-solving skills.

· Strong computer and administrative skills.

· A valid driver’s licence.

· Knowledge or experience in first aid, medical first response, or emergency response is considered an asset.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40,000.00-$45,000.00 per year
