Medical Office Assistant

Part-Time | Opportunity to Grow into Full time

We are looking for a friendly, dependable, and organized Medical Office Assistant (MOA) to join our growing medical practice.

This position will start part-time, with the goal of developing into a full-time position. We are looking for someone who wants more than just a temporary job—we hope to find a person who can grow with the practice and become a valued, long-term member of our team.

What You'll Be Doing

As a Medical Office Assistant, you will be an important part of both the patient experience and the day-to-day operation of the clinic. Your responsibilities will include:

- Welcoming and checking in patients in a friendly and professional manner
- Scheduling appointments and managing the clinic calendar
- Answering phone calls and responding to patient questions
- Maintaining accurate and confidential patient records
- Updating patient information and documentation as required
- Coordinating referrals to specialists, diagnostic facilities, and other healthcare providers
- Managing incoming and outgoing medical documents and correspondence
- Supporting physicians and other medical staff with administrative tasks
- Helping maintain an organized, efficient, and professional clinic environment
- Assisting with other administrative duties as needed

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills




- A friendly and professional manner when interacting with patients
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- The ability to multitask and prioritize in a busy environment
- Confidence using computers and learning new software
- Experience with electronic medical record (EMR) systems
- Familiarity with medical terminology and medical office procedures
- The ability to handle confidential and sensitive patient information appropriately
- The ability to work independently while also being a supportive member of the team

Previous experience working in a medical office is an asset. Experience with medical billing, insurance processes, or referrals is also an asset. A Position That Can Grow With You
