Medical Office Assistant (MOA): Full-Time, Permanent

We're a busy, multi-physician cardiology practice looking for an experienced MOA who enjoys a full day, stays organized under pressure, and genuinely cares about the patients coming through our door.

The details

- Full-time, permanent
- Monday to Friday, with weekends and statutory holidays off
- $22.00–$25.00/hour, based on experience
- Suite 301, 2180 Gladwin Road, Abbotsford

What the job looks like

We have several MOA roles in our office, and after onboarding you'll rotate through all of them. You'll learn how the whole clinic runs, and no two weeks feel the same. Day to day, you'll:

- Check in patients and handle a busy multi-line phone system
- Book consultations and diagnostic tests
- Process referrals, faxes, and requisitions quickly and accurately
- Keep patient records up to date in our EMR
- Prepare charts and correspondence for our physicians
- Pitch in wherever the team needs you

Who we're hoping to meet

- You've worked as an MOA before, and specialist office experience is a big plus




- You know your medical terminology and are comfortable with EMRs
- You can juggle phones, patients, and paperwork without losing track of the details
- You take patient confidentiality seriously
- An MOA certificate or diploma is preferred, but solid experience counts too
- An interest in cardiology helps, and you'll learn a lot here
