Job Summary
Reporting to the VP Projects, the Mill Manager provides leadership to the organization, project site, and team for all matters related to the refurbishment and operation of the mineral processing facility and associated infrastructure. The Mill Manager works collaboratively with all team members in the building of the site following all regulatory requirements and policies of Cambria Gold Inc.

Key Job Functions
- As a senior member of the Cambria team, provides leadership to the organization and processing facility with an emphasis on safe operating practices and behaviour, including identifying and mitigating potentially dangerous and hazardous situations.
- Ensures processing facilities and associated infrastructure meet operational needs and regulatory and environmental standards.
- Works closely with all levels of maintenance professionals to ensure continuously safe and efficient operations.
- Works closely and collaborates with key stakeholders including the management team, corporate and site staff, external contractors and firms, and government and regulatory officials.
- Provides leadership and management for the processing facility from refurbishment, commissioning and to full production.
- Provides leadership with technical and operating solutions
- Manages metallurgical accounting and controls.
- Develops and monitors the yearly financial budget requirements and forecasts.
- Develops, implements, and ensures compliance with related policies and procedures.
- Directs the day-to-day activities of any direct or indirect staff, including providing coaching, mentoring, and managing direct reports.
- Leads continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensures appropriate training is provided for staff and others where required.
- Ensure all company reports are compiled and distributed as required.
Minimum Requirements/Education/Certifications o Post Secondary education in engineering, mining or metallurgy, or other professional qualifications related to the role is an asset. o Valid Class 5 BC driver’s license or equivalent.
Experience o Minimum of 10 years’ related experience in mineral processing environment (operations), including a minimum of 5 years’ supervisory experience.
o Preferred experience in gold cyanidation (CIL) operations.
o Must be eligible to work in Canada.

- Strong technical knowledge of metallurgy and mineral processing.

- Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
- Ability to develop and manage financial budgets.
- A thorough understanding of all provincial and federal legislation related to the mining industry.
- Knowledge and understanding of safety and environment standards pertaining to the mining industry in BC.
- Ability to train, motivate, and engage others; responsible and accountable.
- Ability to identify trends, identify risks, and implement effective solutions.
- Strong safety work ethic, responsible, accountable, and dependable.
Working Conditions ◦ Work is performed in an industrial setting, both inside and outside. There will be equal parts administrative tasks and physical tasks required for the mill manager to complete.
◦ It is a fly-in-fly-out camp-based position, and the mill site is in a mountainous region that can be subjected to snowstorms, avalanches, and high precipitation volume.
