Pillar5 Pharma Inc. is seeking a skilled and experienced Facility Mechanic to join our Maintenance Department. As a Facility Mechanic, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our pharmaceutical manufacturing facility.

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including inspecting, troubleshooting, and repairing equipment and systems.

- Maintaining andoptimizingmachinery and equipment,componentfabrication, welding, start-up and testing, basic electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, plumbing, and mechanical troubleshooting.

- Conduct preventative maintenance to ensureoptimalperformance and minimize downtime.

- Collaborate with other team members toidentifyand resolve facility-related issues.

- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, GMP, and company policies.

- Assistin the installation and modification of equipment and systems.

QUALIFICATIONS

- Training, education, or certification in Industrial Maintenancerequired.



Millwright designation or other suitable Red Seal Certification is an asset.

- Proven experience as a Facility Mechanic in a pharmaceutical or similar manufacturing environment is an asset.

- Robust knowledge of mechanical systems, including HVAC, boilers, compressors, purified water systems, and electrical.

- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and blueprints.

- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

- Attention to detail and ability to work with precision.

- Good communicationand teamwork abilities

- Ability to work shifts and be on call asrequired.

COMPENSATION

- With a 433a red seal license, the starting amount is $38.68 to $42.87/hr.
