Join CRBCL as the Miyo Mahcihowin Coordinator to enhance health initiatives within the Cowessess First Nation community. This full-time position promotes healing programs centered on Indigenous and Western practices. As the Miyo Mahcihowin Coordinator, you will develop and lead programs aimed at overcoming trauma within families and youth.
Robust organizational and communication skills are essential, along with a passion for First Nations traditions and community involvement. This role requires effective leadership to address unique needs and perspectives. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and develop healing programs for families and children
- Identify trauma risk factors impacting community members
- Engage with families to create supportive programming
- Plan events in alignment with First Nations values
- Maintain effective coordination with team members and artists Requirements:
- Degree in Human Services or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience
- Experience with budgeting and resource management
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel Lead impactful healing efforts and support community wellness as a Miyo Mahcihowin Coordinator at CRBCL.
