Holiday Inn Express & Suites Halifax Airport is seeking a reliable, detail-oriented, and customer-focused Night Auditor to join our Front Office team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional guest service during the overnight shift while completing all night audit procedures accurately and efficiently.The ideal candidate will have previous hotel front desk experience, strong knowledge of Opera PMS, and experience performing night audit functions.Key Responsibilities

- Welcome guests and provide exceptional customer service during overnight hours.
- Perform all Night Audit procedures in accordance with hotel and IHG brand standards.
- Complete daily financial reconciliation, balancing room revenue, cash, credit cards, and guest accounts.
- Post room charges, payments, and adjustments accurately.
- Prepare and distribute daily reports for management.
- Process guest arrivals, departures, and reservations.
- Respond promptly to guest requests and resolve concerns professionally.
- Maintain security of the hotel during overnight hours.
- Answer telephone inquiries and assist guests as required.
- Coordinate with Housekeeping and Maintenance regarding overnight issues.
- Ensure the front desk and lobby remain clean, organized, and guest-ready.
- Follow all hotel safety, emergency, and security procedures.
- Promote IHG One Rewards enrolment and recognize IHG One Rewards members.

Qualifications





- Minimum 1 year of hotel Night Audit experience.
- Minimum 1 year of experience using Opera Property Management System (PMS).
- Previous Front Desk experience in a hotel environment is preferred.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy with financial transactions.
- Comfortable working independently during overnight shifts.
- Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

- Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism.
- Legally entitled to work in Canada.
