As the Occupational Therapist, you will have the opportunity to create programs that benefit the community, work with a diverse group of clients and mentor students. You will create tailored rehabilitation plans, recommend job or home modifications, and assist with return-to-work planning. Also addressing physical, cognitive, or emotional challenges and support skill-building and environmental adaptation to improve their independence and quality of life.

Evaluate the worker's physical, cognitive, and psychological functions, to support in either back to work or meaningful connections in their communities Concussion management and return to function planning Teach techniques like mindfulness, relaxation, and sleep hygiene to manage pain, fatigue, and emotional distress. Knowledge of current Occupational Therapy standards, modalities and scope of practice; or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience. ~ Registered and in good standing with the College of Occupational Therapists in your province. ~1-3 years of experience as an Occupational Therapist is preferred ~ Newly Licensed Graduates are accepted ~ In some cases, Proof of Tuberculin (2-Step Mantoux Test) clearance (within 6 months)
Clinical experience is an asset in areas such as brain injury/neurological rehabilitation, mental health, musculoskeletal/orthopedic injury, home safety, ergonomics and/or return to work. Superior interpersonal relations, communication, problem-solving, time management, computer and documentation skills Proficiency in computer skills Proficiency in computer skills.
Bilingualism - French and English are assets.
