Make a difference in children's lives as an Occupational Therapist at a leading Pediatric Health center. Collaborate with families and healthcare teams to provide essential assessments and interventions for preschool-aged clients. This role focuses on delivering tailored clinical services for children with physical and developmental disabilities.
You will be an integral part of the Children’s Treatment Centre, working closely with a multidisciplinary team and engaging with families to enhance care programs. Your efforts will also support education, continuous quality improvement, and community outreach. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide assessments and interventions for children with disabilities
- Fit orthotics and adaptive equipment as needed
- Communicate effectively with families and healthcare teams
- Facilitate educational support groups for children and families
- Contribute to quality improvement initiatives Requirements:
- Registration with the College of Occupational Therapist of Ontario
- 2+ years of experience with children with disabilities
- Skills in therapy for feeding difficulties
- Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle
- Bilingualism in English and French is a plus Utilize your expertise to support pediatric rehabilitation and create positive outcomes for children and their families.
