Job Overview

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Occupational Therapist to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this vital role, you will assess, plan, and implement therapeutic interventions to help patients of all ages improve their functional abilities and enhance their quality of life. Duties

- Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients’ physical, cognitive, and emotional functioning to identify therapy needs.
- Develop personalized treatment plans tailored to each patient’s goals and medical condition.
- Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions focusing on improving mobility, coordination, strength, and daily living skills.
- Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams including physicians, nurses, and social workers to coordinate patient care.
- Educate patients and their families on therapeutic exercises, adaptive techniques, and strategies for ongoing recovery at home.
- Maintain accurate documentation of assessments, treatment progress,



and discharge planning in compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Monitor patient progress regularly and adjust therapy plans to ensure continuous improvement and achievement of goals.

Requirements

- Valid license or certification as an Occupational Therapist in the relevant jurisdiction.
- Proven experience working in hospital settings or acute care environments is highly desirable.
- Robust case management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple patients effectively.
- Experience working with pediatric populations is a plus, along with familiarity with pediatric therapy techniques.
- Excellent knowledge of medical terminology relevant to occupational therapy practice.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver patient-centered care with compassion and professionalism.
- Prior experience in hospital or acute care settings is preferred to ensure seamless integration into fast-paced environments.

Pay: From $35.00 per hour
