Kasper Bus Lines is looking for a reliable, organized, and motivated Operations Assistant to join our team in Winnipeg.

This is a hands-on position supporting the day-to-day operations of a busy passenger transportation company. You will work closely with management, dispatch, drivers, maintenance, and customers to help ensure our scheduled routes and charter trips operate safely, efficiently, and on time.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist with daily dispatch and transportation operations
- Coordinate drivers, buses, scheduled routes, and charter trips
- Prepare and communicate trip details, schedules, and changes to drivers
- Monitor trips and vehicle locations throughout the day
- Assist with last-minute changes, delays, breakdowns, and driver coverage
- Coordinate driver schedules and vehicle assignments
- Help ensure trips are planned in accordance with driver Hours of Service requirements
- Communicate with drivers throughout their trips and provide operational support when required
- Coordinate with maintenance regarding vehicle availability, repairs, and servicing
- Maintain accurate trip, driver, and vehicle records
- Assist with charter bookings, customer requests, and itinerary changes
- Communicate professionally with customers by phone and email
- Assist with operational paperwork, inspections, and compliance documentation
- Perform general administrative duties related to transportation operations
- Support management with other day-to-day operational requirements

Previous experience in transportation, dispatch, logistics, fleet operations, customer service, or administration is an asset, but we are willing to train the right candidate. Knowledge of commercial transportation regulations and driver Hours of Service is considered an asset.
