Outlaw Eagle Manufacturing is looking for an organized, proactive Operations Assistant to alleviate the day-to-day requirements of our operations Department.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys bringing order to busy production environments, improving processes, supporting employees, and helping a growing manufacturing company stay organized.

What You'll Do
- Assist with the preparation, review, and maintenance of production work orders, including BOMs, drawings, notes, and specifications.
- Review information for accuracy, completeness, and consistency before it reaches the shop.
- Follow up on missing or conflicting information and ensure questions are answered.
- Support shop staff by helping find information, answer questions, and connect them with the appropriate department or person.
- Maintain and organize internal documentation, including procedures, forms, checklists, work instructions, and production records.
- Help ensure employees are working from the most current and accurate documentation.
- Prepare agendas and supporting information for production meetings, record action items, and follow up on outstanding items.
- Help coordinate communication between Production, Operations, Purchasing, Engineering, Sales, Service, and Administration.
- Ensure changes, decisions, and important information are communicated to the employees and departments who need to know.
- Identify discrepancies, communication gaps, and recurring issues and help coordinate solutions.
- Assist with maintaining accurate information in our ERP system and other internal systems.
- Provide general administrative and organizational support to the Operations Department.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in an administrative, operations, production coordination, or manufacturing environment preferred.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to identify missing, conflicting,
or incorrect information.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Confident communicating with both office staff and shop-floor employees.
- Strong follow-up skills and ability to take ownership of getting questions answered and issues resolved.
- Comfortable working with Microsoft Office, Excel, ERP systems, and digital documentation.
- Ability to read and understand basic work orders, BOMs, drawings, procedures, and production documentation.
- Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to ask questions when something doesn't make sense.
- Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively across multiple departments.
- Manufacturing or production experience is an asset.
- Fabrication and assembly experience an asset
