The Position:
The ideal candidate has excellent skills in Microsoft project and Microsoft D365 packages, including CRM. Daily work includes ensuring all details from upcoming orders are correctly entered into the system and available for handover to engineering, keeping track of change requests, updating sales documentation such as powerpoints, drafting internal and external memos on recent options available for sale and all other tasks where support is required.
We need someone who is highly organized, who is persuasive and can pick up the phone to collaborate with others as required. Occasionally this candidate will also help facilitate visits. The role will vary, and at times may support other departments as well.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Product Management
1. Support Product Managers in various tasks as they arise
2. Maintain sales support material such as presentations as set out by our brand standards
3. Ensure the right data is entered for the capital sales orders in the CRM system in collaboration with sales.
4. Prepare order review meetings and follow up on outstanding items.
5. Manage the change requests and ensure they are appropriately communicated
6. Help out on fleet proposals as they come through
7. Draft internal and external sales bulletins on new products and features with input from Product Managers
Common duties and responsibilities:
1. Collaborate with others to develop training materials for field service and capital build support on these new systems
2. Collaborate with the other Project Managers to ensure alignment on business system, i.e. data sources, dashboards etc.
3. Participate in all company initiatives and programs as applicable.
4. Travel is not a key requirement. Occasional travel to Owen Sound,
Barrie or Sudbury may be required, but is expected to be rare and always planned well in advance.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, leadership abilities, and problem-solving capabilities. They will demonstrate organizational skills, discipline, an aptitude for proactive learning, and a positive attitude. Additionally, they should meet the following qualifications:
- Post secondary education in business or equivalent
- Prior exposure to mobile equipment is considered an asset
- High level of computer literacy and proficiency with MS Office
- High level of professionalism, honesty, and integrity
- Result oriented self-starter who knows how to pick up the phone
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Bilingualism or multilingualism is an asset (French and/or Spanish are desirable)
- The successful candidate must possess a valid driver’s license
