Online Constructors Ltd. is looking for an experienced part-time bookkeeper to work from our Abbotsford office.

We are looking for someone who is very comfortable with QuickBooks Online and can come into the office, review our current bookkeeping, bring the books fully up to date, and establish an organized system going forward. Once the books are current, there is potential for an ongoing part-time position.

This is a hands-on bookkeeping role in a busy construction setting. The successful candidate should be able to work independently, identify issues, reconcile accounts, and keep the financial records accurate and current.

Responsibilities will include:

- Accounts payable, entering supplier invoices, tracking approvals and preparing payments
- Accounts receivable, customer invoicing and following up on outstanding accounts
- Bank and credit card reconciliations
- QuickBooks Online entries, reconciliations and general bookkeeping
- Payroll support and payroll-related record keeping
- Reviewing and reconciling supplier and subcontractor accounts
- Job and project cost tracking
- Recording equipment,



fuel, travel and other project expenses
- GST and other routine government remittance preparation
- Maintaining organized electronic and paper accounting records
- Reviewing older transactions and correcting or cleaning up bookkeeping where required
- Assisting with month-end and year-end information for the accountant
- General accounting and administrative duties associated with a construction company

Qualifications:

We are looking for someone with several years of practical bookkeeping experience and strong working knowledge of QuickBooks Online. Construction bookkeeping experience would be a significant asset.

The ideal person will be organized, accurate, dependable and comfortable taking responsibility for getting the books caught up without requiring constant supervision. Experience dealing with multiple projects, suppliers, subcontractors and employees would be helpful.

Pay: From $35.00 per hour
