Killam Apartment REIT, based in Halifax, Nova Scotia, is one of Canada's largest residential real estate investment trusts, owning, operating, and developing a $5.5 billion portfolio of apartments and manufactured home communities. We have a part-time position available for an energetic, customer focused cleaner in St. John’s for approximately 25 hours per week. This position will work at various properties so access to reliable transportation is required.

Responsibilities

- Operate vacuum cleaners to remove dirt and other waste;
- Wash windows and interior walls;
- Pick up garbage;
- Empty trash cans and other waste containers;
- Sweep, mop, scrub and wax hallways, floors and stairs;
- Maintain cleanliness of common areas;
- Clean vacant units;
- Report deficiencies to Property Manager for repair;
- Other duties as required.

Qualifications:

- Previous experience in a similar role and/or customer service role is considered an asset;
- Robust organizational and time management skills;
- Proven communication skills,



both written and oral;
- Access to reliable transportation.
