WellFort seeks a Certified Dental Assistant Level II for a part-time position in Brampton, ON. Engage in patient education, infection control, and collaboration within healthcare teams.
As a Certified Dental Assistant with WellFort’s Health n’ Smiles program, you will empower underserved families in the Region of Peel through dental health initiatives. This position requires Level II certification and a minimum of three years of experience in dental clinics. You will prep operatories, educate patients on oral hygiene, and ensure a clean and secure environment.
Key Responsibilities: • Prepare equipment and operatories efficiently • Instruct patients on proper oral hygiene practices • Support chairside duties with the hygienist and dentist • Maintain compliance with infection control protocols • Oversee dental supplies and equipment standards
Requirements: • Level II certification in good standing with ODAA • At least three years’ experience in large clinics • Experience in community dental settings preferred • Proficient with Abeldent and Microsoft Office • Strong communication and teamwork skills
