Overview

Join our Powersports business as a Part-Time Parts/Service Counter Associate, where you'll be the vital link between our customers and the parts and service they need to keep their equipment running smoothly. This role offers an opportunity to utilize your skills in customer service, procurement, and repairs while in a supportive environment. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will help ensure our customers receive prompt, accurate assistance with their parts, service and sales inquiries.

Duties

- Greet customers warmly and provide expert assistance with parts selection, ordering, and service information
- Manage data entry for inventory management
- Assist with procurement activities by sourcing parts, quoting prices, and coordinating with suppliers to ensure timely delivery
- Maintain accurate stock levels through regular inventory checks and updating
- Support demand planning efforts by tracking parts usage trends and assisting in forecasting future needs
- Collaborate with the service team to ensure parts availability aligns with scheduled maintenance and repairs
- Operate forklifts safely when handling heavy or bulk inventory items, adhering to safety protocols at all times





Qualifications

- Previous dealership or automotive parts experience is highly preferred
- experience is important, we would also consider a retired skilled that wants to fill some time with their knowledge of small motors and the like
- Knowledge of supply chain management, sourcing, procurement, and negotiation techniques
- Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude and clear communication abilities
- Mechanical knowledge or familiarity with manufacturing processes is a plus
- Ability to operate forklifts safely; certification is desirable but not mandatory
