Ensure safety and security for all at Laurentian University as a part time Security Guard. This role requires shift work, focusing on enforcement, patrols, and emergency assistance. Reporting to the Director of Campus Safety, you will protect students, faculty, staff, and visitors while maintaining property safety. Ideal candidates should have experience in security or police work, along with a current Ontario Security Guard license and excellent communication skills.

Your responsibilities will include enforcing traffic regulations, conducting security patrols, and providing emergency response. Key Responsibilities:

- Enforce laws and traffic regulations on campus
- Conduct security and fire patrols of campus facilities
- Provide assistance during special events and crowd control
- Supply information and support to the public
- Maintain and inspect emergency equipment and vehicles Requirements:
- College diploma in Law and Security preferred
- 2-3 years of security or police experience
- Valid Ontario Security Guard license
- Current “G” Ontario Driver’s license
