Responsibilities

- Prepare and assemble a variety of sushi dishes with precision and artistry
- Handle food preparation tasks including slicing fish, preparing rice, and assembling ingredients
- Cook and serve other Japanese dishes as needed, ensuring consistency and quality
- Maintain strict adherence to food safety and sanitation standards
- Ensure all ingredients are stored properly and inventory is managed efficiently
- Serve customers with professionalism, providing excellent food service and answering any questions about menu items
- Keep the work area clean, organized,



and compliant with health regulations
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during busy hours

Qualifications

- Proven experience in sushi preparation and Japanese cuisine in a restaurant setting
- Robust skills in food handling, cooking techniques, and meal preparation
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper sanitation procedures
- Excellent serving skills with a focus on customer satisfaction
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Kitchen experience within the food industry is highly desirable
- Familiarity with restaurant operations and food service protocols is preferred
