The Coming Full Circle

Project is seeking a dedicated Peer Specialist who understands the importance of lived experience in mental health and substance use recovery. In this position, you'll facilitate opportunities for others to thrive while managing your own wellness. You will engage in creating educational events, drop-in spaces, and fostering connections to essential health and community services. Key Responsibilities:

- Provide individual and group support for clients




- Assist clients in accessing community resources
- Create and co-host educational events
- Participate in networking with local agencies
- Document client interactions accurately Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent required
- Lived experience in mental health or substance use
- Willingness to assist others in their recovery
- Solid communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to navigate community resources Empower individuals through connection, support, and understanding as a Peer Specialist in Haliburton County.
