We are looking for a People & Culture Coordinator to join our Vancouver office. In this role, you will support day-to-day People & Culture operations and help create a positive employee experience—from recruitment and onboarding to employee programs and events.

Key Responsibilities

- Coordinate recruitment activities, including posting job openings, scheduling interviews, and supporting candidate communications.
- Conduct initial resume screening and pre-screen interviews for select roles.
- Support onboarding processes, including preparing documentation, coordinating orientation, and ensuring a smooth new hire experience.
- Maintain accurate team member records across systems and ensure data integrity.
- Track and support people lifecycle changes, including probation periods, team changes, promotions, and offboarding.
- Ensure required documentation is completed and filed in accordance with internal processes.
- Assist with benefits administration, including enrollments, updates, and responding to employee inquiries.
- Support payroll administration by ensuring accurate time tracking and employee information.
- Track people leaves of absence (vacation, sick leave, and other leave types) and maintain up-to-date records.
- Act as a first point of contact for general People & Culture inquiries and escalate more complex matters as appropriate.
- Support internal communications and initiatives that promote company culture and values.
- Coordinate company events, recognition programs, and team-building activities.




- Coordinate logistics and execution of Principal & Associate meetings and other corporate events.
- Support feedback initiatives (e.g., surveys, check-ins) and assist with data collection and follow-up tracking.
- Provide day-to-day administrative support to the People & Culture team.
- Assist with documentation, reporting, and process tracking.
- Support the implementation and ongoing coordination of People & Culture programs and initiatives.

Key Skills

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Bluebeam/Adobe Acrobat and familiarity with HRIS software such as ADP (or equivalent).
- Ability to work collaboratively and efficiently in a team while being independent and self-sufficient.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Self-motivated, Empathetic, Good Listener, Detail oriented, Confident, Multi-tasker, Organized, Proactive.
- Excellent time management and task prioritization skills.
- Strong focus on Staff Engagement, Teamwork, Loyalty, Honesty/Integrity, Collaborative, Enthusiastic/Engaged, Strong Work Ethic.
- Ability to work collaboratively and efficiently in a team while being independent and self-sufficient.

Qualifications and Experience

- Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field preferred.
- 2 to 4 years of related experience required.
- Previous experience working in an engineering firm (or similar industry) is a plus.
