Duties

- Perform grooming services including bathing, trimming, styling, and brushing to meet each pet’s specific needs and breed standards
- Assess each pet’s coat condition, skin health, and temperament to determine appropriate grooming techniques
- Handle pets safely and gently, ensuring a calm environment during grooming sessions
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of grooming tools, stations, and work areas to promote hygiene and safety
- Communicate effectively with pet owners to understand grooming preferences and provide advice on pet care




- Assist with heavy lifting tasks such as lifting large or heavy pets onto grooming tables or into baths
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing client questions, scheduling appointments, and ensuring a positive experience

Experience

- Prior experience in pet grooming or related animal care roles is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for motivated candidates
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with pet owners
- Ability to handle heavy lifting safely and comfortably as part of daily duties
- Passionate about animals with a caring, patient attitude towards pets of all temperaments
- Ability to stand, bend, lift, and perform physical tasks throughout the workday in a fast-paced setting
