Responsibilities
- Support pharmacy technicians and pharmacists with medication preparation, labeling, and inventory management
- Assist in organizing and maintaining pharmacy supplies and records with accuracy and attention to detail
- Provide friendly, informative assistance to patients regarding medication pick-up and general inquiries
- Ensure proper storage of medications according to safety protocols and hospital policies
- Help facilitate the documentation of medication administration processes under supervision
- Maintain confidentiality of patient information in compliance with privacy regulations
- Participate in hospital-led training sessions to deepen understanding of medical terminology and pharmacy procedures
- Preparing blister packs
- Processing prescriptions under preferably PROPEL Rx , filling and labelling
Experience
- Prior experience working in a pharmacy environment is highly desirable
- Experience as a pharmacy technician or related healthcare role is a strong plus
- Demonstrated commitment to patient care and supporting healthcare teams
- Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to pharmacy operations
- Familiarity with medication administration procedures is advantageous
- Strong organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with patients and staff
