Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Assistant (Part-time) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for healthcare, excellent communication skills, and a strong commitment to patient care. In this role, you will support pharmacists in dispensing medications, managing pharmacy operations, and ensuring a positive experience for our patients.

Responsibilities

- Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing prescription medications accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain organized medication inventory and ensure stock levels are adequate to meet patient needs.
- Provide exceptional patient care by answering questions and offering guidance on over-the-counter products.
- Handle administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and processing prescription requests with precision.
- Ensure compliance with medical terminology standards and medication administration protocols.
- Support the pharmacy team in maintaining a clean, safe, and compliant environment according to health regulations.




- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to facilitate smooth medication management and patient support.

Skills

- experience with pharmacy patient management software. Propel experience is a excellent asset
- English Language proficiency
- Previous experience in pharmacy is highly desirable.
- Experience as a pharmacy assitant or similar role is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and medication administration procedures.
- Excellent patient care skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse populations.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Familiarity with pharmacy software systems and inventory management tools.
- A proactive attitude with strong organizational skills and a commitment to accuracy.
