Overview

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Physics and Further Mathematics Teacher to inspire and educate students at the high school level. Duties

- Develop and deliver comprehensive lessons in physics and further mathematics, integrating curriculum standards and cutting-edge instructional methods.
- Design lesson plans that incorporate learning technology and adapt to various learning styles to maximize student engagement and understanding.
- Assess student progress through standardized testing, formative assessments, and project-based evaluations; provide constructive feedback to support academic growth.
- Manage classroom environments effectively, fostering positive behavior management and inclusive participation among students from diverse cultural backgrounds.
- Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum implementation, instructional design, and educational research initiatives to enhance teaching quality.
- Incorporate laboratory experiments, dissection activities, and scientific research projects to deepen students’ understanding of biology, chemistry, microbiology, genetics, molecular biology, biochemistry, organic chemistry, and related sciences.




- Mentor students individually or in groups for academic advising, tutoring sessions, or preparation for standardized tests; support their personal development and career aspirations.

Skills
- Strong expertise in physics concepts including trigonometry, calculus (including differential equations), geometry, algebra, discrete math, and proofing techniques.
- Extensive experience in teaching science subjects such as cell biology, microbiology, genetics, molecular biology, biochemistry, organic chemistry, and laboratory research methods.
- Proven ability to develop curricula aligned with educational standards while integrating technology-driven lessons using educational software and IT tools.
- Excellent classroom management skills with the ability to engage teenagers effectively while working with students from diverse backgrounds.
- Skilled in lesson planning, instructional design, assessment strategies, and implementing educational compliance regulations.
- Effective communication skills for collaborating with colleagues on teacher initiatives or research projects; mentoring students; engaging parents; and participating in school administration activities.
- Familiarity with special education needs as well as Montessori or other specialized teaching methodologies is a plus.
- Experience working within private school environments or similar settings is preferred; knowledge of standardized testing procedures is essential.
