In this role, the Physiotherapist reports to the Health Services Manager and works in outpatient, inpatient, and community settings.
You will diagnose and treat patients, educate families, and supervise physiotherapy students and assistants. Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential for effective collaboration across health disciplines. Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and diagnose patient impairments and limitations
- Provide treatment in diverse settings like outpatient and inpatient
- Educate patients, families, and caregivers on rehabilitation
- Supervise and evaluate physiotherapy students and assistants
- Collaborate with health professionals for quality patient care Requirements:
- Degree in Physiotherapy or entry-level master’s program
- Membership with the Nova Scotia College of Physiotherapists
- Annual BCLS certification required
- Proficiency in computer skills for documentation
