Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physiotherapist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assessing, planning, and implementing rehabilitation programs for patients with various physical conditions. This role requires a strong commitment to patient care and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.

The Physiotherapist will primarily work in a hospital setting, providing acute care services and specialized treatment for pediatric patients.

Duties

- Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical abilities and limitations.
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient evaluations.
- Implement therapeutic exercises and modalities to improve mobility and function.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
- Educate patients and their families on rehabilitation processes and home exercise programs.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.




- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in accordance with hospital policies.
- Stay updated on the latest medical terminology and physiotherapy practices.

Requirements

- Degree in Physiotherapy from an accredited institution.
- Valid physiotherapy license to practice in the relevant state or region.
- Experience in pediatrics, particularly in a hospital or acute care setting, is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology related to physiotherapy practices.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.
- Compassionate approach towards patient care with a focus on improving quality of life.

Job Type: Part-time Pay: $42.00-$60.00 per hour
