Position Details

Nason Contracting Group Ltd. is currently seeking Local Pipefitter Journeypersons for our project at DOW Chemical Cogen - Shutdown

Night shift and day shift available

Schedule Rotation: Shutdown - 12 hours

Benefits and RRSP Provided As Per Collective Agreement

What You Will Be Working On

Process piping and equipment installations

Threading, cutting, grooving, bending, measuring of piping

Working with plans and specifications to determine layout and installation requirements

Hydrostatic testing of installed piping systems

Ensuring safe work practices, EH&S; processes, and OH&S; compliance are followed on site

What We Are Looking For

Valid Journeyperson Certificate or Apprentice Certificate

CSTS 2020

WHMIS 2015

Fall Protection

MEWP

Confined Space

Fire Watch

Extensive knowledge of the occupational hazards and safety precautions applicable to the work

Experience on major industrial project sites The ability to lift, carry and handle weight up to 50lbs

Must be organized, self-driven, and have ability to understand and execute oral and written instructions
