- May consider either a General Duty Cross Trained Technologist or General Duty Combined Lab and X-ray Technologist as the successful candidate for this position. Under the general supervision of the Charge Medical Technologist or designate, the Cross-Trained General Duty Medical Technologist performs assigned duties in accordance with their scope of training and experience, and according to established protocols. The incumbent provides direct patient/resident care and the technical, administrative and operational support functions required as part of the multi-disciplinary team approach of service delivery and other duties as assigned. The incumbent will maintain a secure environment in accordance with professional and provincial guidelines and ensure compliance with quality assurance programs and maintain standards put forth by Accreditation. Functions are conducted in accordance with the Mission and Values of Shared Health, current policies, procedures and applicable legislation.
Graduate of an approved Medical Radiography program with attained certification by CAMRT - OR. Graduate of an approved Medical Laboratory Technology program with attained certification by CSMLS. Graduate of an approved Laboratory or Radiology Assistant Program. Successful completion of an accredited Medical Imaging Technology Program, eligible for registration with the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (C.and registration with the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (C.Must maintain current licensing with the College of Medical Laboratory Technologists of Manitoba (CMLTM).

Demonstrated organizational and interpersonal skills with ability to establish and maintain positive working relationships in a multi-disciplinary teamenvironment and with external agencies, groups and the public required.
