The Producer is the first point of contact for our clients and together with all client facing roles, represents the face of the company. The Producer manages projects as assigned by the Executive Producers or as requested by our clients. The Producer is a mentor for our Studio Assistants and leads by example by fulfilling all of their day-to-day producing tasks consistently and professionally.
The Producer works closely with Client Services to ensure all clients of The Pub are well taken care of when they work with our team. This individual must be personable, highly organized, proactive and are able to prioritize and problem solve in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- In this client facing role, foster strong relationships with existing and current clients, ensure clients are receiving the best possible service on all jobs while at The Pub and follow up with clients upon completion of jobs.
- Collaborate with colleagues, vendors and agencies on quotes and projects as required.
- Create inclusive team environments, meet frequently with editing teams to review client feedback and follow up at the completion of each project.
- Maintain an appropriate response time to client requests while managing the day-to-day responsibilities of producing sessions, providing quotes and dealing with other internal responsibilities.
- Manage the internal schedule for our Artists and Assistants across all disciplines.
- Oversee the coordination of assets on all projects and ensure clear communication with the Assistant Editor(s) & all artists working on any given job.
- Have a presence in the suite when clients are attending a session. Be seen and always appear available to our clients.
- Liaise with the Agency to ensure clients’ needs are met in a timely and efficient manner.
- Problem-solve client issues and requests in a timely manner and manage client expectations.
- Keep Artists & Assistant Editors informed of current job information well in advance of booking dates.
- Train and mentor new hires where appropriate.
- Handle financials on jobs, e.g. reconcile and invoice jobs, create and manage vendor POs.

Qualifications
- 3-5 years post producing experience, preferable in the advertising space.
- Able to communicate creative thoughts and ideas and understand how they may be executed by our Artists.
- Able to multitask and prioritize effectively
- Able to meet deadlines and follow directions
- Able to thrive in a high pressure, detail-oriented setting

Salary
Transparency matters to us. The salary range for this position is CAD $70,000 to $80,000 per year. Actual compensation within this range will be based on a variety of factors, including relevant experience, knowledge, skills, and applicable certifications. This range reflects what we reasonably expect to offer based on current market data.
