O’Neill Auto Group is seeking a motivated, enthusiastic, ambitious, career-oriented person to join our Pre-Owned Sales Team at our flagship store in Mount Pearl.

As a Pre-Owned Sales Consultant, you will be ensuring customers have the best experience at O'Neill Nissan. Your goal will be to provide an exceptional customer experience and drive sales revenue.

Responsibilities:

- Approaching, greeting and offering assistance or direction to any potential or current client who enters the dealership showroom or lot
- Assist clients in selecting a vehicle by asking questions and listening carefully to their responses and building a strong rapport
- Assist with test drives and facilitate the delivery of vehicles while focusing on added value features, options, accessories and lifestyle
- Explain product performance, application and benefits to prospective clients
- Describe optional equipment/accessories for client purchase
- Perform excellent, professional and knowledgeable presentation and demonstration of Pre-Owned vehicles
- Report to Sales Management regarding objectives, planned activities, reviews and analysis
- Complete all OEM required online and in person training courses as needed




- Prospecting through outbound telephone calls and correspondence
- Following up with former and current dealership customers who have visited the dealership or taken test drives
- Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

- Previous experience in sales or customer service is preferred
- Solid interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport quickly
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets
- Knowledge of sales techniques and strategies
- Dealership experience is considered an asset
- Strong negotiation skills
- Class 5 NL Drivers license
- Clean drivers abstract and Code of Conduct

Additional pay:
- Commission pay
