We are looking for a Procurement Manager, reporting to the Brantford location, from Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 4:30 PM. This role will be responsible for overseeing procurement activities, developing and maintaining supplier relationships, negotiating pricing and terms, and ensuring the timely and cost-effective sourcing of materials and services required to support production, maintenance, and operations.

The Procurement Manager will work closely with internal departments and external suppliers to proactively address supply challenges, improve procurement processes, and support Miura's overall operational and strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and maintain a reliable, high-performing supplier network and strong supplier relationships.

- Source, evaluate, onboard,



and manage new and existing vendors, including supplier visits and contract finalization.
- Negotiate pricing, payment terms, delivery schedules, contracts, and other commercial requirements.
- Collaborate with Quality Control, Engineering, Accounting, Production, and other departments to address supplier and procurement needs.

- Resolve supplier issues and proactively address urgent supply challenges to secure critical components and minimize operational disruptions.
- Monitor supplier performance, contracts, compliance, quality, delivery, and cost while identifying opportunities for improvement and supporting strategic procurement initiatives.

Qualifications

- Post-secondary education in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Procurement, or a related field is an asset.
- Minimum 2-5 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, sourcing, or supply chain, preferably in a manufacturing or technical setting.

- Experience with invoicing, purchase orders, work orders, or billing
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities with the capacity to manage multiple priorities

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Outlook, Excel and Word

Pay: $70,000.00-$80,000.00 per year
