We are a small manufacturing company seeking to fill open positions:

- Work hours 7.30 AM to 3.30 PM (40 hours per week)

- Manufacturing plant is clean and air conditioned

- Unionized, Unifor Local 1090

Major Responsibilities:

- Operate and monitor production equipment used in the processing and manufacturing of precision quartz crystals.

- Perform production operations such as crystal preparation, cleaning, lapping/polishing, assembly, mounting, sealing, testing, and packaging, as assigned.

- Handle small, delicate components using appropriate tools and techniques.

- Follow detailed work instructions, process specifications, drawings, and standard operating procedures.

- Set up and make routine adjustments to production equipment within established operating parameters.

- Perform visual and dimensional inspections using microscopes, gauges, meters, and other inspection equipment.

- Conduct in-process and final quality checks and accurately record production and inspection results.

- Identify defects, process abnormalities, equipment issues, or out-of-specification conditions and notify the appropriate supervisor or technician.

- Maintain accurate production records,



lot traceability, and documentation.

- Maintain a clean, organized, and controlled production environment.

- Follow established safety procedures, quality requirements, and applicable environmental and contamination-control practices.

- Perform routine equipment cleaning and basic preventive maintenance as required.

- Work closely with Quality, Engineering, Maintenance, and other Production team members to resolve process issues.

- Meet established production schedules, quality standards, and efficiency targets.

- Participate in continuous improvement activities and assist with identifying opportunities to improve safety, quality, and productivity.

Qualifications

- High school diploma or equivalent.

- Previous experience in manufacturing, electronics, precision assembly, semiconductor, optics, medical devices, or another high-precision production environment is an asset.

- Strong attention to detail and ability to consistently follow precise work instructions.

- Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.

- Ability to work with microscopes and small components for extended periods.
