Green Metals Canada, Inc. is a new kind of scrap metal recycling and waste handling company with a business model that is truly revolutionary in the industry.

GMCI currently has the position of Production Team Member available at our Woodstock location. This role will start as a 12 month contract.

What you'll be doing:
- Perform receiving, shipping, and storage functions.
- Operate heavy equipment including mobile cranes, forklift, baling machines, front end loader, and track mobile (moving rail cars).
- Perform strapping process of aluminum formed bales for shipping by truck.
- Perform and maintain 5S housekeeping (continuous cleaning) duties.
- Strictly follow safety procedures and guidelines.
- Complete all training provided, including weekly "Gemba", monthly training assignments, and annual recertification training.
- All other duties as required.
Desired skills and experience:
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in a metal, recycling, warehouse or manufacturing setting consider an asset.
- Experience operating heavy equipment and forklift consider an asset but will train if no previous experience.
- Must be safety oriented.
- Must be dedicated to continuous improvement.
- Must be available to work shift work, overtime, and weekends.
- Must be available to travel to our GMCI Cambridge facility when necessary.
