All-Paws Pet Services is a dog walking & pet sitting company in the Sherwood Park area, and we are looking to hire an enthusiastic part-time dog walker/pet sitter to join our team. for Dog Walkers

This is a great opportunity if you love to work with animals and to have flexibility in your schedule. As a dog walker/pet sitter, you will be paid to take dogs on private on-leash walks , take socialized dogs to a local off-leash dog park, and provide drop-in visits for puppies, cats and other small critters while pet parents are at work or away on holidays or work trips. Dog walkers/pet sitters are able to get creative with their inner photographer, providing fun photos and walk/visit reports to pet parents via our convenient and easy-to-use app.

The Mon-Fri hours you will need to be available are between the hours of 9:00AM-3:00PM. Occasional evening and weekend availability would be an asset.

Job Requirements

We are looking for a team member who is ready to commit for the long term (1+ year)

You must

- Be 18+ years old
- Have your own vehicle
- LOVE animals and have some pet care experience, either personally or professionally
- Be comfortable and confident with all dog sizes and breeds
- Be willing to transport multiple (1-2) dogs in your vehicle
- Be able to drive and work outside in inclement weather (rain, snow, wind, heat, cold)
- Be located in our area of service (Sherwood Park)



or within a close surrounding community
- Have a clean background check
- Have a cellphone with a data plan
- Be reliable, personable, & able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Be willing to complete a 10 hour in-person Pet First Aid course (paid for by the company)

Job type: Independent Contractor

PAY: The pay is commission based. Dog walkers/pet sitters make 75% of the rate of a service + tips; our services and rates are listed on our website www.allpaws.ca. The weekly gross pay can range between $400-$800 depending on the amount of bookings and your availability.
