Why is this role important?

The Program Specialist, Digital Solutions supports the development, enhancement, and operation of CIHI’s data and information platform as part of the Hub Program. This role involves contributing to process improvements, stakeholder engagement, and strategic planning to ensure efficient delivery of data products.

What you'll do

1. Participate in cross-functional project teams focused on developing and maintaining data and information products.
2. Identify process gaps and recommend improvements to enhance timeliness, fleibility, and operational efficiency.




3. Collaborate with internal stakeholders and technical teams to understand and communicate business goals, requirements, and data management processes.
4. Develop and maintain knowledge of CIHI’s data holdings, master data, metadata, and related tools and processes.
5. Build and maintain relationships with stakeholder groups to ensure coordinated teamwork.
6. Contribute to test strategy development and eecute test cases as needed.
7. Support internal and eternal engagement activities, including change management and communications.
8. Draft reports, briefing notes, presentations, and other documentation as required.
9. Monitor program planning activities, anticipate risks, and proactively address issues with project teams.activités, au besoin. [

What you'll bring to the table

- Undergraduate degree in Digital Health, Health Information, Mathematics, Statistics, Biostatistics or related field, or equivalent combination of education and related eperience.
- 3-5 years related eperience in health care related information management, data processing, or analytics.
- Strong conceptual, problem-solving, verbal communication, technical writing, and presentation skills.
- Ability to synthesize data and create effective data visualizations for diverse audiences.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Familiarity with CIHI data, standards, health master data, and data management best practices, including privacy of personal health information.
- Understanding of the healthcare system and performance management/reporting.

- Ecellent planning, organizing,



and multitasking abilities.
- Ability to work independently under tight deadlines.
- Project management eperience and familiarity with Gantt charts is an asset.

- Eperience with business intelligence tools such as MicroStrategy, Tableau, Qlik, or Power BI is an asset.
- Eperience using R or Python for data manipulation and analysis is an asset.

Additional Requirements

- Primary locations: Toronto or Ottawa.
- Must comply with all CIHI workplace policies, including privacy and confidentiality.
- Fluency in English is required, bilingualism in both official languages is an asset.
