We are actively looking to hire a motivated and detail-oriented Project Coordinator to support our Civil Infrastructure projects. This role is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and who enjoys participating in impactful community projects.
As a Project Coordinator, you will assist in project planning, execution, and monitoring, contributing directly to the success of key infrastructure projects. You'll support the tendering and estimation processes, coordinate project documentation, and help ensure projects run efficiently. Assist in preparing accurate quantity takeoffs and interpreting specifications for project estimation and proposals.
Prepare cost estimates, tender forms, and detailed pricing breakdowns for labour, equipment, and materials. Develop and distribute requests for quotations (RFQs) to suppliers and subcontractors, and manage responses. Support project scheduling activities,
ensuring timelines and deadlines are clearly communicated and tracked.
Coordinate project documentation, including contracts, purchase orders, and productivity reports. Work closely with Project Managers and Estimators to prepare accurate budgets, proposals, and bids. Post-secondary education in Civil Engineering Technology, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
Minimum of 2-3 years experience in construction project coordination or related roles, ideally in heavy civil infrastructure projects such as; Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and experience with civil engineering software. Familiarity with tendering, estimating, and basic project scheduling processes. Formal training in project management or certification (such as CAPM) is considered an asset.
