Federated Co-operatives Limited (FCL) is hiring a Senior Payroll Associate on a permanent basis within our People & Culture team. This position is a hybrid opportunity, so the successful candidate must be local to Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. Process bi-weekly payroll for local Co-op clients, ensuring accurate remittances and adherence to deadlines.

Provide timely customer support to address client inquiries related to pay. Assist with year-end duties, including preparing T4s, vacation payouts, and related reports. Review payroll correspondence and update employee files, including special payments like bonuses and severance.

Manage Workers

Compensation reports, third-party error notifications, and maintain security of payroll records. You will work closely with the Payroll Services team and will report into the Supervisor, Payroll Services. This team strives to cultivate a culture of support, collaboration, and community.

We help local Co-ops grow and thrive by offering a range of professional services, including marketing, market research, information technology, human resources, accounting, risk management and business development.





You are looking for a career in Payroll and: Have 4 progressive financial accounting courses from an accredited post-secondary institution and 1 year of related accounting or payroll experience. Have 8 progressive financial accounting courses from an accredited post-secondary institution and 2.5 years of related accounting or payroll experience.
