Position Summary
We are seeking a highly organized, proactive, and detail-oriented Project Manager (1 year contract) to support the management team to develop, organize, coordinate and lead medical/health and digital projects. The ideal candidate thrives in a dynamic environment, excels at managing multiple priorities, and is adept at working with diverse stakeholders across the interdisciplinary health team.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate administrative policies, procedures, schedules for the organization and affiliates.
- Prepare reports, briefings, and summaries for the company and affiliated organizations.
- Manage complex stakeholder relationships within the organization, external partners, and wider health system.
- Provide leadership in the organization, execute and implement complex multi-year project.
- Assess risks in planning, design and development/procurement.
- Evaluate policies and procedures.
- Negotiate and obtain stakeholder buy-in for multi-partner/stakeholder projects in the integrated health care system.
- Conduct analytics, metrics, and reporting.
- Communicate project plan, progress.
- Establish project goals, specifications, requirements, timelines, budget, milestones.
- Document processes and procedures.
- Perform some of the work in projects when necessary due to budgetary or time constraints.
- Apply for funds and grants
- Meet with staff, stakeholders, team members to monitor and progress projects.
- Abide by the clinic/organization Policies, Procedures and Guidelines, and Code of Conduct.
- Attend staff meetings.
- Be willing and able to be trained, to expand scope of work, and to train others.
Qualifications
- Post‑secondary degree in Health Administration, Business Administration, Public Administration, Project Management, or a related field.
- Project management training or certification, in progress or completed (e.g., PMP) is an asset.
- Min, 2-3 years of progressive project management experience, ideally in healthcare, primary care, community health, or multi‑stakeholder environments is an asset.
- Demonstrated ability to plan, execute, and manage projects, including scope, requirements, timelines, budgets, milestones, and deliverables.
- Hands-on skills across planning, design, development and execution of projects.
- Ability to conduct analytics, develop metrics, and produce performance reports for internal and external stakeholders.
- Proficiency in policy evaluation, workflow analysis, and operational improvement.
- Advanced skills in report writing, briefing notes, presentations, and executive‑level summaries.
- Strong command of Microsoft Office, project management software, and digital collaboration tools.
- Proven ability to manage stakeholder relationships across clinical teams, administrative staff, partner organizations, and the broader health system.
- Ability to work effectively with physicians, allied health professionals, executives, funders, and external agencies.
- Ability to perform hands‑on project tasks when required due to budget or time constraints.
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills, with the ability to manage multiple concurrent projects.
- Sound judgment, discretion, and professionalism, especially when handling sensitive clinical or organizational information.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, suitable for senior leaders, clinicians, and external partners.
- Ability to communicate project plans, progress, risks, and decisions clearly and persuasively.
- Skilled at facilitating meetings with staff, stakeholders, and project teams.
