Project Manager – Commercial Construction (Renovation & Addition)

Location: Oshawa, ON (Project Site) / Oakville, ON (Office)

Compensation: Competitive salary based on experience + bonus + benefits

Our client is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead a major $40M commercial renovation and addition project in Oshawa. This is an exciting chance to join a well-established contractor and take ownership of a high-profile project expected to run for approximately 12–18 months.

The successful candidate will be available to start immediately and will have a strong background managing commercial construction projects, particularly those involving occupied spaces and direct client interaction.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage all phases of the project from pre-construction through closeout
- Maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and internal teams
- Coordinate project schedules, budgets, procurement, and site operations
- Lead project meetings and provide regular progress updates
- Oversee change orders, RFIs, cost control,



and project reporting
- Ensure project delivery meets quality, safety, and schedule requirements
- Work closely with the site team to minimize disruption while operating in occupied environments

Qualifications

- Proven experience as a Project Manager on commercial construction projects
- Experience delivering renovation and addition projects
- Demonstrated success working in occupied and operational facilities
- Strong client-facing skills and ability to manage stakeholder relationships
- Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership abilities
- Ability to start immediately or on short notice
