KINDERGARTEN RECE for Palmerston Community Daycare

Position Requirements:

- Hold an Early Childhood Education Diploma; be registered and in good standing with the College of ECE's
- Be familiar with AQI, CCEYA, ELECT and HDLH.
- Ability to utilize online platforms ie. Hi MAMA for observations of children, communication with families, etc.
- Ability to use technology ie – laptop, tablet, etc. for planning, programming, communication.
- Experience in a childcare setting.
- Ability to communicate effectively with children, colleagues, and parents.
- Work well in a team-based workplace.
- Creative, energetic, and able to engage children.
- Ability to multi-task.
- Possess a valid certificate in Infant/child first aid and CPR.
- Possess a current Police Reference Check.

Position Responsibilities:

- Provide stimulating and enriched programming for children 4 - 6 years old.
- Plan and implement children’s activities and experiences.
- Guide children’s behaviour to promote a healthy and safe environment.




- Encourage and support family involvement.
- Promote and support diversity and inclusion.
- Contribute to the ongoing operation of Palmerston Daycare.

Position Details:

- Effective Tuesday October 13th, 2026
- 33.5 to 35 hours / week
- Hourly wage based on experience.

Pay: $25.86-$34.27 per hour

Expected hours: 33.5 – 35.0 per week
