We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Red Seal Mechanic to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities

- Perform comprehensive inspections, diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on various vehicles and heavy equipment using advanced mechanical skills.
- Utilize schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic tools to troubleshoot complex mechanical issues accurately.
- Conduct welding repairs and fabrications as needed to restore or enhance equipment functionality.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and assembly techniques to disassemble, repair, and reassemble components efficiently.
- Lift heavy parts and equipment safely during maintenance procedures, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
- Communicate clearly with team members and customers regarding repair status, timelines, and technical details.
- Maintain detailed service records, work orders, and inspection reports to ensure transparency and accountability.

Requirements





- Valid Red Seal certification as a professional mechanic with proven experience in automotive repair or heavy equipment maintenance.
- Dealership experience is highly preferred for familiarity with manufacturer-specific systems and procedures.
- Strong mechanical knowledge across various vehicle systems including engines, transmissions, brakes, suspension, and electrical components.
- Proficiency in reading schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic software to identify issues efficiently.
- Experience with welding techniques such as MIG or TIG welding is desirable for fabrication tasks.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining proper ergonomics during repairs.
- Excellent customer service skills to communicate effectively with clients about repairs and maintenance needs.
- Knowledge of assembly processes for vehicle parts or machinery components is an asset.
- Familiarity with the use of hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment in a workshop setting.
