Position Overview

Nurturing Behaviours Inc. is seeking a Board Certified Behaviour Analyst (BCBA) / Registered Behaviour Analyst (R.B.A. Ont.) to join our team as a Senior Clinician for a maternity leave contract.

This is a temporary full-time position providing coverage for a member of our clinical leadership team during maternity leave. The successful candidate will step into an caseload and work alongside our existing Behaviour Analysts, Senior Therapists, Instructor Therapists, administrative team, and multidisciplinary professionals.

As a Senior Clinician, you will play a key leadership role in overseeing individualized treatment programs, supervising and supporting therapy teams, collaborating with families, and ensuring high-quality clinical service delivery.

You will have the opportunity to work across centre-based, home-based, community, and virtual services and within our therapy centre, which includes dedicated treatment spaces, a sensory gym, life-skills areas, and collaborative clinical spaces.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide clinical supervision to Instructor Therapists and Senior Therapists across centre-based, home-based, community, and virtual services.
- Oversee an established clinical caseload during the maternity leave period.
- Conduct initial assessments and ongoing reassessments using appropriate assessment tools, including ABLLS-R, VB-MAPP, and others as clinically indicated.
- Develop individualized treatment plans, skill-acquisition programs, and behaviour intervention protocols.




- Regularly analyze client data and make evidence-based treatment modifications.
- Monitor treatment integrity and ensure ethical, effective, and individualized service delivery.
- Design ABA programming, data collection systems, visual supports, and therapy materials.
- Provide parent and caregiver coaching, education, consultation, and support.
- Provide clinical guidance, training, and career development to therapy team members.
- Participate in team meetings, case consultations, multidisciplinary collaboration, and care planning.
- Maintain regular and professional communication with families, team members, schools, and other external professionals as appropriate.
- Complete clinical documentation, reports, treatment plans, and other required records in a timely manner.
- Ensure services are delivered in accordance with professional, ethical, organizational, and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

- Master’s degree in Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) or a related field.




- Registered and in good standing with the College of Psychologists and Behaviour Analysts of Ontario as a Behaviour Analyst, or eligible to practise in Ontario as required for the position.
- Minimum of 1–3 years of experience in the field of ABA.
- Experience developing behaviour protocols, conducting comprehensive assessments, and supervising ABA therapy teams.
- Familiarity with assessment tools such as ABLLS-R, VB-MAPP, PEAK, or similar.
- Training or experience with Skill-Based Treatment (SBT) is considered an asset.
- Strong leadership, communication, organization, and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work effectively with children and youth with a range of strengths, needs, diagnoses, and support requirements.
- Current Vulnerable Sector Check completed within the previous six months, or willingness to obtain one prior to employment.

Contract Information

This position is being offered as a maternity leave contract. The successful candidate will provide temporary coverage for an existing Senior Clinician during their leave.

The anticipated duration and start/end dates of the contract will be discussed during the interview process.

While this posting is specifically for maternity leave coverage, Nurturing Behaviours Inc. continues to grow, and future permanent opportunities may become available. However, continued employment beyond the maternity leave contract is not guaranteed.

Pay: $39.00-$50.00 per hour
