Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Registered Early Childhood Educator to join our vibrant team. In this role, you will play a vital part in fostering a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for young children. Your enthusiasm for early childhood development, combined with your strong communication and organizational skills, will help support children’s growth and learning.

Responsibilities

- Plan and implement engaging educational activities that promote social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development in children
- Supervise children during daily routines, playtime, meals, and rest periods to ensure safety and well-being
- Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and caregivers to support individual needs and developmental goals
- Maintain accurate records of children's progress, attendance, and behavioral observations using computer systems
- Foster inclusive classroom environments that accommodate children with diverse abilities, including those with disabilities or special education needs
- Communicate effectively with families about children's development and daily experiences
- Ensure compliance with licensing regulations, health and safety standards,



and early childhood education best practices

Experience

- Valid certification as a Registered Early Childhood Educator (RECE) or equivalent credential
- Valid First Aid & CPR
- Clear Police Records Check (within the past 6 months)
- Experience working with children in early childhood settings or classrooms
- Knowledge of child development principles and early childhood education methodologies
- Experience supporting children with disabilities or special education requirements is highly desirable
- Bilingual abilities in English and French are considered an asset to serve diverse communities
- Strong communication skills—both written and verbal—are essential for effective collaboration with families and team members
- Proficiency in computer operation, including documentation software and classroom management tools
- Demonstrated leadership qualities with excellent time management and organizational skills to handle multiple responsibilities efficiently
