About Job
We are seeking a dynamic, energetic and patient-focused Registered Nurse to provide care across the Emergency Department, Acute Care Unit and Obstetrics department. The successful candidate will work to their full scope of practice as part of a collaborative healthcare team and will cross-train between departments to build a diverse clinical skill set.
Schedule and Compensation
- Hours: Days, evenings and nights; 12-hour shifts, including weekends and statutory holidays.
- Schedule is subject to change based on operational needs.
- Hourly wage range: $41.15-$58.98.
- Full time/ Part time availability
Qualifications
- Current registration and Certificate of Competence with the College of Nurses of Ontario.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications.
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification, or willingness to obtain it within six months.
- Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC), Coronary Care - Level 1 and Canadian Triage and Acuity Scale (CTAS) certification are assets.
- Recent experience in emergency, medical/surgical nursing and special care.
- Demonstrated commitment to patient safety.
- Robust leadership, problem-solving, decision-making, organizational and interpersonal skills.
- Understanding of and compliance with occupational health and safety requirements.
- Self-directed and able to work effectively with minimal supervision.
- Satisfactory work performance and attendance record.
