Become a vital part of the Palliative Care Team at Assisted Living Alberta in Edmonton. As a Registered Nurse, you will provide essential support to patients and their families during challenging times.
This part-time Registered Nurse position focuses on delivering holistic and patient-centered care within urban palliative homecare settings. Utilize critical thinking and clinical expertise to assess, implement, and evaluate care plans that enrich the quality of life for patients facing responsible illness. Collaborate closely with families and multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive support throughout the care process.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct thorough patient assessments and goal setting • Provide client-centered therapeutic nursing services • Coordinate care plans with health care professionals • Mentor and support nursing students and staff • Evaluate care outcomes regularly for quality improvement
Requirements: • Graduation from an accredited nursing program • Proof of registration with CRNA • Basic Cardiac Life Support certification • Minimum of two years nursing experience • Ability to work independently in diverse settings
