Work at IIPCT Clinic as a Registered Practical Nurse for a 6-month contract, emphasizing a holistic and Indigenous approach to health and wellness. You will be integral to addressing clients' diverse health needs. In this role, you will leverage your clinical skills and experiences to perform health assessments and provide education in collaboration with your team.
Advocacy for clients, especially those from Indigenous communities, will be essential in ensuring they have access to the healthcare services they require.
Your role will include documenting patient interactions and participating in health promotion initiatives tailored to community needs. Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct physical assessments and triage clients
- Advocate for appropriate health services for clients
- Record client encounters using electronic systems
- Develop and implement community health programs
- Provide foot care services specific to diabetic individuals Requirements:
- Nursing diploma with registration in good standing
- At least 2 years of relevant healthcare experience
- Strong organizational and teamwork abilities
- Current CPR and First Aid certifications
